As a member of our core team of talented industry specialists, you will work with the latest hardware and software technologies. The ideal candidate communicates effectively and collaborates seamlessly with teams across AMD.
Requirements
- Strong background in object-oriented programming, preferably in C/C++.
- Proven ability to write high-quality, detail-oriented code.
- Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating system development.
- Knowledge of software development tools and processes, such as debuggers, source code control systems (e.g., GitHub), and profilers.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with AMD’s architecture specialists to enhance future products.
- Apply a data-driven approach to identify and execute optimization opportunities.
- Stay current with software and hardware trends, especially in algorithms and architecture.
- Design and develop innovative AMD technologies.
- Participate in new ASIC and hardware bring-ups.
- Debug and resolve existing issues, and research more efficient solutions.
- Build and maintain technical relationships with peers and partners.
