We're looking for a Staff Software Developer, Back End Infrastructure and Databases to join our Systems Engineering, Production team. This role is for someone who is passionate about building innovative solutions and being exposed to new challenges and technologies while making an impact. This role is available to candidates across Canada and the US. If you are local to one of our hubs (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto) you will be expected to be in office minimum once per week on one of our Anchor Days. The Staff Software Developer will be responsible for discovering, triaging, and solving difficult performance and scalability problems in Clio's core applications and databases. They will primarily be iterating and evolving our infrastructure, data schema, application code, and products in order to solve complicated scalability issues with a goal of achieving high performance, high scalability, and exceptional reliability. By engaging across the organization, you'll help drive our current and future architecture and teach our engineering teams how to implement scalable patterns, particularly at the RDBMS layer.
