The Signal Integrity Engineer will play a critical role in the planning of digital PCB designs, simulation, lab verification, and troubleshooting signal integrity issues on completed designs. They will also be expected to help with design review of critical PCBs for signal integrity concerns. Good communications skills and ability to work with global teams is required. The incumbent develops new electrical systems/circuits for various applications. Research system ideas and draw up plans for these systems, and capture them in schematics and system specifications. Test, simulate, validate and qualify their systems and make adjustments as needed. Provide support throughout the manufacturing of the electrical systems they have designed. This role works in cross functional teams with other designers, customers, manufacturing engineering and project leadership to ensure robust and high quality product development. Enhance designs with feedback from reviews in areas such as manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, industrial design and simulations.

  • Lead Technical Solutions: Design, develop, and implement complex technical solutions, contributing to project planning and scheduling.
  • Provide Technical Leadership: Guide and direct engineering teams, potentially serving as a recognized expert.
  • Manage Project Elements: Oversee non-technical aspects of engineering projects, including personnel and finances.
  • Interpret Requirements & Customer Interface: Review customer requirements and specifications, potentially acting as the primary customer contact.
  • Analyze & Recommend Solutions: Evaluate trade-offs to recommend optimal solutions and develop deployment strategies.
  • Lead Strategic Programs: Direct the deployment of strategic programs and coordinate site-wide deployment initiatives.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Potentially manage relationships with key vendors and partners.
  • Design & Implement Systems: Design, modify, and implement systems to fulfill customer and Celestica requirements, creating schematics, BOMs, diagrams, and drawings.
  • Test & Troubleshoot: Conduct testing, simulation, and measurement to assess system performance, including troubleshooting.
  • Stay Current: Remain up-to-date with industry knowledge and the latest trends.
  • Solve Complex Problems: Address and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders: Act as a liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Analyze Data: Analyze and interpret data and information.
  • Recommend System Modifications: Propose modifications to existing systems.
  • Create Documentation: Generate reports, meeting minutes, and updates.
  • 7 to 10 years of related experience.
  • Experience in similar job roles.
  • Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or similar.
