The role of the SSM II (Supervisory) is to be responsible for independently planning, organizing, directing, evaluating and managing comprehensive administrative services and the staff that perform these services for the Office of Administrative Hearings and Appeals (OAHA). The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of officewide support and services including, without limitation: facilities management; health and safety; security; telecommunications; information technology; asset management; ProLaw administrative and timekeeping functions; records and forms management; fiscal, budget and accounting activities; procurement operations within the Financial Information System of California (FI$Cal); administrative drills; expenditure forecasting and review; contracts; budget change proposal (BCP) and legislation tracking; recruitment and training; hiring and personnel actions; onboarding and benefits; position planning and control; maintaining hearing calendar; and various secretarial and clerical activities.
