Some of the duties include working with Hatchery Managers, analyzing program needs related to contract delegation which includes service contract specifications; create appropriate standard language necessary for contract packages. Tracking all expenditures, analyze budget trends, and assist hatchery manager with procurement planning based on projected budget. Research and interpret departmental policies and practices for staff. Review procurement procedures, regulations, and information regarding procurement, especially when changes are implemented. keeping a clean workstation, addressing public question and handling day to day phone call, returning e-mails, checking in and out Contractors. Under the supervision of the Hatchery Manager II (SJH) and (KRH), incumbent is responsible for analytical, technical, and related clerical work in relation to performing procurement related duties for Central Region programs.
