About The Position

This position is advertised as a Staff Services Analyst/Associate Governmental Program Analyst with the intention of promoting the incumbent. This position is also being advertised at the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) level. Candidates may apply at both levels. However, candidates must submit a separate application for each level. Please see JC-498399 for more details Duties: Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), provides support in a variety of analytical, reporting, and writing functions related to program control for the Division of Engineering (DOE). Assignments require a working knowledge of applicable sections of Public Contract Code, Military and Veterans Code, Government Code, and Code of Federal Regulations, and general budgeting and accounting procedures. This position performs analytical fiscal service duties for the Division of Engineering. You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement. Requirements

  • Working knowledge of applicable sections of Public Contract Code, Military and Veterans Code, Government Code, and Code of Federal Regulations, and general budgeting and accounting procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • High level experience in research and data analysis, preparing various reports using narratives, tables, and/or charts; preparing materials and delivering training; experience in reasoning logically and creatively; experience meeting deadlines and changing priorities; and experience with data management tools such as Portfolio Project Management/ Resource Management (PPM/RM).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to take independent action
  • Pay close attention to detail
  • Work in a team environment
  • Experience with Word, Excel, Project Server, SharePoint, SAP and Access.
