Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II and Program Manager I, this continuously monthly traveling position performs detailed file audits and property/unit inspections for compliance issues affecting all multifamily rental housing projects throughout California that are funded with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) (Internal Revenue Code Section 42) and other related analytical duties. Duties of these positions will include regular overnight travel and physical inspection of properties and housing units throughout the State of California. Travel will be for a minimum of 2 weeks a month, Monday - Friday, February - December. Physical inspection of the properties includes walking around properties, climbing multiple flights of stairs, entering the units of tenants, testing various items, bending, kneeling, and inspecting easily accessible outside areas. The position(s) require(s) a valid California Driver's License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application.
