About The Position
The DSH-Metropolitan State Hospital is accepting applications for the Staff Services Analyst (SSA)- Forensic Services Department, Permanent/Fulltime position(s). Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager 1/11, the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) performs analytical staff services assignments such as preparing reports, analyzing and tracking data, and presenting ideas and recommendations on procedures, policies, and program alternatives effectively. Incumbent will perform technical work in processing, monitoring, maintaining, and tracking control of various legal documents handled by the Forensic Services Department. Incumbent will also be responsible for cross-training and the ability to fully process all duties outlined for various SSA positions in the department. Must be able to read and interpret California Penal Code; Welfare and Institution Code; Case Law and Court Orders.
