Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Staff: Estimated annual base pay: $114,400 (minimum) - $143,000 (midpoint) - $171,600 (maximum) Senior Staff: Estimated annual base pay: $131,600 (minimum) - $164,500 (midpoint) - $197,400 (maximum) All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity.

Requirements

  • Staff: Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Greater than 8 years' experience in related field, including post-graduate experience.
  • Senior Staff: Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Greater than 12 years in related field required, including post-graduate experience.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
  • All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of complex engineering projects, including project management, problem-solving, and team communication.
  • Drive company-wide process improvements and lead efforts in specific product development areas.
  • Solve challenging engineering problems involving conflicting design requirements, non-standard materials, and complex coordination.
  • Provide technical support to sales and development through proposals, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze system problems using advanced simulations and perform complex component testing.
  • Lead project teams by estimating manpower needs, setting schedules, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Communicate effectively through expert-level writing, presentations, and representation at industry events.
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise to components, subsystems, and manufacturing processes.
  • Foster collaboration within cross-functional teams, set technical direction, and align activities with business objectives.
  • Leverage recognized expertise to drive strategic planning and balance activities for significant financial impact.
