Our Security team works to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. Security Engineers work with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. In this role, you will also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities. As a Staff Security Engineer on the PAIRS team, you will be instrumental in securing and supporting AI products and agents across the company. In this role, you will be responsible for threat modeling, conducting security assessments for various products, identifying emerging security trends, and collaborating with other security teams and the Secure AI Framework (SAIF) team to enhance overall product security. This role demands a technical foundation and exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills to handle complex security tests (e.g., coding agents, models handling sensitive data, and more!) You will manage, mentor, and guide other engineers, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve collective goals.
