About The Position

The Staff Scheduler at The Vineyards | California Armenian Home is responsible for creating and maintaining employee schedules to ensure efficient operations within the senior living community. Requirements

• Proven experience as a Staff Scheduler or similar role
• Mid-level experience in scheduling and coordinating staff
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in scheduling software and tools
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to scheduling and employee rights

Nice To Haves

• Previous health care setting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain employee schedules based on business needs and staff availability
• Coordinate with department managers to ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts
• Handle shift changes and manage employee requests for time off
• Communicate with staff to ensure they are aware of their schedules and any changes
• Monitor and track employee attendance and time-off requests
• Utilize scheduling software and tools to streamline the scheduling process
• Analyze and report on scheduling trends and performance metrics
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement scheduling policies and procedures
