The Role We are seeking a seasoned Staff Salesforce Engineer to join our engineering organization and play a pivotal role in building world-class CRM systems from the ground up. As a technical leader, you will shape our Salesforce ecosystem, define best practices, architect scalable solutions, and ensure our CRM platform becomes a strategic foundation for the company. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Engineering—to design systems that accelerate growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong track record of building enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and Salesforce platform fundamentals.
  • Proven experience architecting and scaling CRM systems, ideally starting from a greenfield environment.
  • Strong understanding of Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud (or other CPQ/CLM solutions), Experience Cloud and core Salesforce modules.
  • Hands-on experience with API development, REST/SOAP integrations, and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), scratch orgs, and DevOps best practices.
  • Ability to drive complex technical initiatives with minimal direction and high autonomy.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect are highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL/SOSL, and integrations.
  • Lead end-to-end development cycles—from requirements gathering to release management, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
  • Define and enforce Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
  • Serve as the technical expert and mentor for other Salesforce developers and admins.
  • Partner with GTM stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and roadmap items.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance data integrity, and create seamless user experiences.
  • Provide technical leadership on multi-team initiatives, integrations, and architectural decisions.
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external/internal systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
  • Optimize the data model, automation, and configurations to improve performance and scalability.
  • Maintain rigorous standards around data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex system issues across Salesforce environments.
  • Lead code reviews, technical design reviews, and release management processes.
  • Introduce new technologies, tools, and processes to improve development efficiency and platform reliability.
