About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Engineer with hands-on experience in designing, deploying, troubleshooting and maintaining IP and Networking solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting broadband network evolution, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability of our access network solutions including  Hybrid Fiber-Coax (HFC) and Passive Optical Network (PON) infrastructures.   Key Responsibilities: Design and implement HFC and PON solutions to support broadband services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect system solutions and evaluate sales opportunities Perform system integration, testing, qualification, deployment and validation of optical and coaxial network elements Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to RF, fiber optics, and IP transport. Test and qualify solutions for interoperability and integration in customer environments Evaluate new technologies and solutions for potential integration into existing infrastructure Support field deployment teams with technical guidance and escalation support. Monitor network performance and recommend improvements for capacity and reliability Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Use novel and creative solutions using AI   Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field experience required.  Masters degree is a plus. 2+ years of experience in sales engineering with a focus on IP and Networking technologies Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, or Bash for test automation and network configuration is a plus Strong understanding of Virtual Machines, Servers and Data Center Technologies, Wi-Fi and home networking is a must Ability to act independently and professionally in high pressure customer environments Experience with DOCSIS, RF signal flow, optical transmission, network management tools, CMTS's, OLTs, Routers, Switches and GPON/EPON standards is a plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field experience required.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales engineering with a focus on IP and Networking technologies
  • Strong understanding of Virtual Machines, Servers and Data Center Technologies, Wi-Fi and home networking is a must
  • Ability to act independently and professionally in high pressure customer environments

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree is a plus.
