About The Position
Stamford Health is hiring a PER DIEM Staff Nurse VIR for Day Shift! The Interventional Radiology department of Stamford Hospital in Connecticut is expanding. Department growth is related to new hospital construction, resulting in several full-time nursing position openings, with hiring and training staggered over the next year. The nursing position within the IR team is primarily responsible for the pre-, intra- and post-procedural care of these patients, including delivering moderate sedation. The IR team includes the Interventional Radiologists, IR techs, nurses and an IR PA, all of whom work in tandem and with fluidity.
