About The Position

Covenant Health is seeking a Health Contingent Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Bangor, ME. This position is essential in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients and ensuring their health and well-being. As a member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing nursing interventions. Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Maine.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in a specialty area (e.g., ACLS, PALS).
• Experience in a healthcare setting focused on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Administer nursing care to patients and monitor their health status.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
• Participate in the development and implementation of patient care protocols.
