About The Position
Provides professional nursing care by utilizing the nursing process to care for seriously ill infants. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Possesses critical thinking skills as demonstrated by ability to prioritize, problem solve, and communicate through chain of command. The treatment of patients should be individualized and should reflect an understanding of the developmental needs and range of treatment needs for each patient. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred.
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience in Maternal Child Services preferred.
- Current California RN license
- BLS
- NRP
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Experience in NICU preferred.
