About The Position

In collaboration with Department Manager assists with responsibilities for the implementation, delivery, coordination and supervision of services by team members consistent with Froedtert & Medical College policy and procedures. Primarily serving in a staffing role with some administrative initiatives. Responsible for clinical, technical and/or support services and competencies while serving as the primary mentor/educator to the team members.

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in an ambulatory care or inpatient setting is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing. Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Maintain clinical/technical competencies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate effective leadership ability through positive communication and creative problem-solving technical skills.
• Requires a current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-State Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (nursing license compact).
• American Heart Association (AHA) basic life support for the Healthcare providers (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
