Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in collaboration with healthcare providers Utilizes the nursing process to identify and meet educational and discharge needs of the patients. Identifies changes in patient's condition and intervenes appropriately. Works collaboratively with physician. Reviews orders. Reports abnormal lab values and significant changes in patient findings. Works collaboratively with patients and family to establish a plan of care, which would include an assessment of psychosocial needs. Possesses knowledge of medications and demonstrates ability to dispense medications as per FHMC standards.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree
  • Registered nurse with 2 years of experience
  • Other candidates to be considered on an individual basis and attributes
  • Current Registered Nurse: CA RN
  • Basic Life Support - CPR BLS
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program - NRP, within 90 Days

  • Stable Program - STBL
  • Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing RNC - NIC

Responsibilities
