Staff RN- Emergency
About The Position
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education/Licensure/Certification: Current California Registered Nursing (RN) license required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification strongly preferred within 6 months of hire Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) strongly preferred within 2 years of hire Trauma Nursing Core Courses (TNCC) required within 1 year of hire Knowledge: 2 years RN experience required. ER experience preferred. Per Diem status positions, 2+ years Emergency department experience is strongly preferred. Skills: Has the physical and mental health sufficient to accomplish the duties of a RN and is able to meet the pharmacology requirements of Marshall Medical Center. Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment. Ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with EPIC. Must have basic computer skills.
