The position involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a full-time equivalent (FTE) of 0.4 to 0.9, translating to 16-36 hours per week. There is a requirement to work every fourth weekend and to take one summer holiday and one winter holiday. Critical care experience is required. The role focuses on assisting patients to move rapidly and effectively through their episode of care while prioritizing quality and safety. The nurse will delegate, direct, oversee, and provide developmentally appropriate patient care, practicing professional nursing and promoting patient advocacy in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, while maintaining a current Ohio Nursing License.
