Come join our exceptional Department of Neurobiology, and help lead the advancement of cutting-edge basic science research into explorations of the brain and central nervous system. In this Staff Researcher (SRA 2) position you'll: Perform research into Neurogenomics using animals as models and postmortem tissues from humans and other species. Prepare chemical solutions for experimental use. Conduct brain tissue collection followed by sectioning and IHC, ISH, or immunoblotting. Conduct nuclei isolation from brain tissues followed by single cell genomics library generation. Maintain animal colony, including weekly tracking of subjects, breeding, and disposal. Maintain data collection logs, including database management and tracking of surgical specimens. Handle and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols. Oversee and manage the general running of the laboratory, including the technical and administrative aspects.
