Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services

As a Staff Research Scientist in our Decision Sciences R&D organization, you will be responsible for researching and building optimization, control theory, simulation, and machine learning applications to extend Epsilon Digital's ad personalization platform. On a day-to-day basis, you will manage projects end-to-end from early-stage research through development, in consultation with stakeholders. You will lead end-to-end research and implementation of R&D projects with significant business impact, develop a thorough understanding of business use cases relevant to all technical projects worked on, and develop an understanding of Epsilon's CORE Personalization Platform and proprietary datasets. You will use your optimization, control theory, simulation, or machine learning expertise to research and recommend the best approaches to solving our technology and business problems. Additionally, you will design, implement, and validate your solutions in Apache Hive and Spark using Python or Scala on large state-of-the-art computing clusters, work with our Engineering teams to integrate your solutions into Epsilon's platform, and participate fully in our collaborative approach to research and applications projects.
