About The Position

INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center Portland Avenue, Oklahoma's largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department in Oklahoma City, OK. This mid-shift position (1 PM - 1 AM) involves providing exceptional patient care as part of the emergency team. The Staff Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process. This role may require floating to other units and participating in on-call status. The position requires population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals. Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • Hospice Only: Current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association required in lieu of BLS
  • Other certifications and competencies required based on service line skill
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
  • Hospice and Employee Health: Valid driver's license in the state where employed, available and dependable transportation, ability to drive automobile, and proof of current automobile liability insurance
  • INTEGRIS Mental Health: This job requires the incumbents to operate a INTEGRIS-owned vehicle OR personal vehicle (non INTEGRIS-owned) and therefore must have a current Oklahoma State Drivers License as well as a driving record which is acceptable to our insurance carrier

  • Assessment/re-assessments
  • Development of the plan of care
  • Implementation of appropriate patient care interventions
  • Evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions
  • Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate
