About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery for a nursing job in Irving, Texas. Our Labor and Delivery unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our Labor and Delivery leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. The Labor and Delivery Patient Population includes OB patients >20 weeks gestation with patient ratios of 1:2 (L&D) and 1:2-3 (OB Triage contingent on OB patient acuity, phase of care, and census). The unit has 10 L&D rooms and 2 OB Triage rooms. The department specifics include a fast-paced, positive teamwork environment, collaboration intra and interdisciplinary, good communication, accountability, flexibility, and a supportive culture of safety.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• RN - Registered Nurse license.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification (required within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities
