About The Position
Inova Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator for Women's Services to join our team at the Fairfax Medical Campus in Dunn Loring, Virginia. This full-time position is integral to our Women's Services department, where you will play a crucial role in providing patient education and medical information to study patients. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that patients understand their medication dosages, administration, and treatment for various diseases. You will assess the physiological status of patients and address their educational, psychological, and spiritual needs, ensuring a holistic approach to care. As a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator, you will administer investigational medications and perform patient assessments during clinic visits to monitor for side effects, promptly notifying the treating investigator of any findings or issues. You will also be responsible for identifying and explaining key protocol elements, performing study tasks under direct supervision, and ensuring subject safety in compliance with Institutional Review Board and Independent Ethics Committee requirements. Your role will involve explaining the investigational product development process and adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, ensuring that all study operational activities are conducted with the utmost professionalism and accuracy.
