About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab for a nursing job in Irving, Texas. The position is for an ongoing 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The nurse will be on call every 3rd week for 7 days. The patient population is adult only, with a patient ratio of 1:1 in the procedural area. The role requires conscious sedation experience and 1 year of critical care experience, and candidates must live within 30 minutes of the facility.

Requirements

• 1 year of critical care experience (ICU or ER).
• Conscious sedation experience.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the facility.
• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
• Additional certifications in nursing specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Administer conscious sedation to patients.
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
