About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab for a nursing job in Frisco, Texas. The position is for a full-time staff role in the Cardiac Cath Lab, requiring two years of recent/current Cath Lab experience. The Cath Lab/IR unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. The leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. The patient population includes Cath Lab, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology. The department is equipped with advanced technologies and offers training for critical care nurses and scrub responsibilities for RNs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Current RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Two years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with advanced technologies such as Balloon Pump, Impella, Inari, Shockwave, Penumbra, IVUS, EKOS.
• Previous training or experience in scrub responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Assist with procedures and patient management in a high acuity environment.
• Participate in training and mentoring of new staff.
