About The Position

The Registered Nurse plans, implements, and proves professional nursing care for patients while in the Imaging Department consistent with hospital and nursing standards care. The Registered Nurse maintains a safe environment and performs all job-related responsibilities in a safe manner. The Imaging Registered Nurse maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the age, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patients served.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
Current and Valid NC state license to practice professional nursing.
Experience in Critical Care and/or Emergency Department Nursing.
BCLS Certification (required upon hire)
ACLS and Pals Certifications (required upon the next class offered by CRHS Education Department).
Required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to the age groups of patients for whom he/she will be assigned.
