The Staff Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist is part of the Admin HR team and leads full-cycle recruitment for all office-based roles across our licensed home care agencies, from front-line staff to Director-level positions, primarily non-exempt roles across multiple New York locations. This role also supports onboarding RN contractors, ensuring all pre-employment and licensing compliance requirements are met. Reporting to the Chief HR Officer, Admin, and based in our Brooklyn headquarters, the ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced home health care environment and oversees the offer and onboarding process to deliver a professional and compliant new hire experience.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience recruiting and onboarding hourly employees; home care experience nice to have
  • Advanced knowledge of an ATS; Workable a plus but not required
  • Experience using job boards such as Indeed and LinkedIn
  • Must be able to take initiative and work independently
  • Must have good interpersonal and written skills

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting: Handle the recruiting process for office openings from finalizing job descriptions, posting the job, screening and scheduling candidates with hiring managers
  • Onboarding: Handle the offer process through onboarding and scheduling orientation for day-1 using our ATS system, ensuring all new hires a smooth positive experience
