Staff React Software Engineer
About The Position
We are looking for a Staff React Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve scalable, high-performance front-end solutions. In this role, you will act as a senior technical authority, contributing hands-on while also shaping architectural decisions, defining engineering standards, and guiding teams toward best practices. As a Staff Engineer, you bring deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks—particularly React—and a strong ability to solve complex technical problems. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams, influence long-term technical direction, and mentor engineers to elevate overall code quality and delivery excellence.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and maintaining software applications.
- 5+ years of professional experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing applications with React.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Proven mentoring and coaching capabilities.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Openness to continuous learning and adopting new technologies.
- Expert-level proficiency with React.js and modern front-end technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
- Strong experience with application architecture, performance optimization, and state management in React-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and front-end integration patterns.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL) from a consumption and integration perspective.
- Experience implementing and maintaining unit tests and front-end quality practices.
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
- Experience working within Agile development frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
- Familiarity with containerization and deployment concepts (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of application security principles (e.g., OWASP, OAuth).
- Experience optimizing application performance, including caching strategies and code-level improvements.
