About The Position

Position performs diagnostic radiographic examinations, applying principles of radiation protection and principles of effective patient care.

High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.
Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
Basic Life Support - American Red Cross
Radiography (R) Certification and Registration - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
No specific work experience is required for this position.
Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) or accredited radiography program.
Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date
Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements).

Performs high-quality radiographic images per scanning protocols, correlating patient history with examination and presents study to medical providers for examination while adhering to patient schedules.
Performs daily calibration for bone density machines.
Collaborates with medical providers & medical assistants to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsible for communication and patient images, performs data entry, and completes documentation necessary for images.
Maintains established departmental policies/procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, and environmental and infection control standards.
Enhances own professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and conferences.
Assists with maintaining supplies.
