About The Position

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health, in collaboration with Med Management Associates, is
on a mission to provide top-tier psychiatric and psychological services to the
rapidly growing senior community residing in nursing homes and assisted living
facilities. We are currently seeking a full time or part-time Psychiatrist to
join our compassionate and dynamic team.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted medical license
• Valid DEA registration
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort working in LTC environments
• Commitment to timely documentation and high-quality psychiatric care

Responsibilities

• Conducting psychiatric assessments to provide comprehensive insights into our patients' mental health needs.
• Managing medication regimens and ensuring that patients receive the appropriate treatment and care.
• Collaborating within an interdisciplinary team to create a holistic and patient-centric approach to care.
• Depending on the situation, you may also be involved in supervising our mid-level clinicians, ensuring the highest quality of care.
