The Department ’ s Healthcare Facilities Division (HFD) oversees the seven state-operated healthcare facilities, including the Montana State Hospital. DPHHS is dedicated to serving Montanans in their communities to improve health, safety, well-being, and empower independence. As the largest executive branch agency with a significant statewide footprint, DPHHS has the privilege of getting to know many Montanans through frequent contact and supporting some through challenging times.
