About The Position
VENTURA COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER – Ventura, CA Ventura County Medical Center (VCMC) is a 229 bed, fully-integrated, comprehensive system of hospital, clinic and specialty services. VCMC is noted for its renowned Family Medicine Residency Program and is distinguished as the only Ventura County academic teaching hospital with a residency affiliated with UCLA School of Medicine. VCMC is the designated Level II Trauma Center for the west county and is known for its extraordinary trauma team. Due to the patient population, Spanish-speaking is preferred. Crisis Stabilization Unit & Consultation (Hillmont Psychiatric Center) 7 days on / 7 days off rotating schedule 12-hour shifts Patients are seen in the CSU, Ventura County ED, including consults in the main hospital.
