This position is a Staff Project Engineer for Advanced Development Programs (ADP) supporting ground-based systems deployed for Joint All-Domain Operations (JADO). Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Experience with Project Management, Project Engineering, and/or Systems Engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope
  • Proven and demonstrated leadership and organizational coordination skills
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Ability to travel

  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter requiring minimal supervision capable of clear communication through multiple levels of senior and executive leadership
  • Ability to interface and work well with multiple functional areas
  • Experience interfacing with defense/military customers
  • Experience in contractual documents such as SOW, technical specifications, RFPs, and change orders to ensure scope compliance and adequacy
  • Experience with Air Battle Management systems including Operations, Training and Integration
  • Experience employing Command and Control communications systems in Joint and Coalition environments
  • Understanding of the JADC2 concepts and supporting systems/technology including; Air Taskings Orders, Datalink Architecture, Advanced Battle Management System and Simulation Systems

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering project within area of assigned responsibility.
  • Organize activities concerned with risk management, technical developments, cost management, scheduling, and resolving engineering and design test problems.
  • Support ad hoc tasking by Program Technical Leaders.
  • Property management of government equipment purchased through ADP contracts, to include inventory control and warehousing of government equipment across multiple programs
  • Transportation, as necessary, of government or LM equipment to, from, and between government sites, LM sites, or other contractor sites
  • Provide data reporting of inventories, purchases, RMAs, and other reports / visualizations to give Program Managers (both LM and government) quick answers to logistical questions
