About The Position

The Program Planner supports the Project Management Office (PMO) with planning, scheduling, and coordination activities across multiple projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in project or program management and gain hands-on experience in planning tools, documentation, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. You will assist with maintaining project schedules, creating trackers and reports, supporting meetings and go-live events, and ensuring that documentation is accurate and up to date. Working closely with senior program leaders, you’ll help keep projects on track and contribute to the success of company initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Up to 1 years of experience in project coordination, planning, or business operations (internships and academic projects count).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of project planning tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com, MS Project, or Excel).
  • Strong technical acumen and willingness to learn new software or methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Financial Technology (FinTech) or Payments environments.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or other project management methodologies.
  • Previous experience (including internships) in project coordination, data analysis, administrative, or executive support.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Manager of Corporate Planning & Support and supports the PMO in planning and executing projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Assist in building and maintaining project schedules using Smartsheet, Monday.com, or other PMO tools.
  • Help track progress and monitor schedule changes and key milestones.
  • Document and communicate project updates, risks, and scope changes under supervision.
  • Support the creation of project trackers, reports, and dashboards to measure progress and performance.
  • Take and distribute meeting minutes, follow up on action items, and help manage documentation.
  • Contribute to Day 1 Go Live activities, project closure tasks, and post-project reviews.
  • Assist with financial tracking and reporting related to project budgets and costs.
  • Help maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain program documentation, including spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps.
