About The Position

Develops, defines, and executes plans of record including: schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks. Monitors and drives the program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders across functions on technical matters, as needed. Monitors budget/spending, on-time delivery, and achievement of program milestones. Represents the program and drives alignment across stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • PMP Certification.
  • 10+ years Program Management experience or related work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in SoC development including direct management of chip design. systems, product and test engineering, software, applications, or product development.
  • Experience in multiple areas of SoC design and development preferred.
  • 2+ years experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc.
  • 5+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
  • 3+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Program Management of Automotive/ADAS chipset navigating a rapidly changing market with dynamic customer requirements, technical challenges, and intense schedule pressure.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the program to ensure success - identifying critical path, critical risks, and opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Adapt to rapidly changing market and customer requirements while delivering to schedule, quality, and cost requirements.
  • Understand barriers, challenges, and tradeoffs in all functional areas (chip design, SW, quality, sourcing, customer engineering, marketing, and business operations) in order to maintain a coherent plan for delivering to schedule, product cost, and function.
  • Coordinates the work of worldwide development teams that contribute to multiple projects in parallel, competing for resources and attention.
  • Organizes and leads cross-functional meetings to set project milestones, define project tasks, and establish program plans and processes.
  • Troubleshoots program issues at both a managerial and technical level and helps to develop alternative program tasks, schedules, milestones, resource plans, processes etc. to resolve program issues and conflicts.
  • Leads customer problem resolution, identifying required resources, tasks and investigation paths to quickly solve customer issues to maintain schedule for end product launch and production.
