As new applications and IoT devices leverage the platform’s seamless network access capabilities the demands for continuous efficiency and performance improvements have never been greater and the diversity of the markets serviced have never been broader. During this era of rapid connectivity evolution, the growth of data being sent over the internet and between devices has grown dramatically and AI has emerged as a proven effective processing technique for analyzing this data. With the rapid advances being made today in AI processing techniques next generation FWA platforms will enable network operators to offer services never thought possible that include security, image processing, intent drive networking, complex analytics, and personal digital assistant applications. Additionally, AI applications will drive levels of network efficiency and performance to unprecedented levels enabling FWA platforms to service applications that demand low latency and high bandwidth all while accommodating the rapid endpoint growth being driven by IOT, and smart home/business solutions and providing service providers with additional revenue generating models. Evolving the traditional FWA broadband solution into an AI enhanced FWA platform solution presents the opportunity to truly drive the transformation of how FWA platforms are architected, provisioned, and used. As a Staff AI Platform Product Manager for Qualcomm’s Wireless Broadband and Connectivity (WBC) business you will define and drive a comprehensive AI platform strategy that enhances the features, performance, and revenue generating opportunities in our carrier and enterprise markets. In this role you will work closely with geographically dispersed engineering, marketing, and sales teams to define the WBC’s AI platform strategy. Additional responsibilities include: Identifying AI enhanced FWA platform use cases and business plans. Working with SoC product managers to specify feature requirements. Assisting the engineering teams in the specification, development, and creation of new AI. enhanced FWA platform features to ensure they become successful. Driving an extensive ecosystem of third-party AI application developers leveraging the Qualcomm platform. Identifying and specifying AI application SoC and platform software integration requirements. Identifying and specifying AI workload orchestration requirements. Defining AI model training strategy both compute and data lake architecture requirements. Defining scalable AI model optimization strategy for mission mode inference. Managing the AI application integration into WBC’s software platform life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. Leading AI enhanced FWA platform product launches and release plans. Developing key marketing messages around the AI enhanced FWA platform. Maintaining subject matter expertise and internally/externally evangelizing AI ecosystems and technical trends that will have a material impact on the WBC business Delivering presentations at technical conferences and to customers.
