About The Position

Description A Day in the Life: Hertz is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the strategy, performance, and growth of our Digital Add-Ons business, including vehicle upgrades, Loss Damage Waiver (LDW), roadside assistance, and other ancillary offerings across both counter and digital channels. This role is responsible for full P&L ownership, long-term product strategy, and day-to-day performance management for digital add-ons. The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to quickly diagnose business trends and recommend actionable solutions. This individual will partner closely with Finance, Data Science, Engineering, Operations, and Counter teams to deliver revenue and customer experience improvements. What you'll Do: Own the P&L for Digital Add-Ons across digital and counter channels, including revenue, margin, attach rate, and customer outcomes. Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for digital add-ons, including pricing, bundling, offer structure, and new product opportunities. Serve as the primary point of contact for performance updates, answering “what is happening, why, and what we should do next.” Provide clear, concise, and data-driven communication to senior leadership, including weekly business updates and strategic recommendations. Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Data Science, Engineering, Operations, and Field teams to drive initiatives that improve revenue and customer value. Lead deep-dive analyses to understand business drivers and identify opportunities to optimize attach rate, conversion, margin, and customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, KPIs, and mechanisms to track business performance. Drive execution of new product features, pricing changes, and operational improvements with a strong bias for action. Ensure alignment across stakeholders and provide leadership on high-priority initiatives and performance escalations. What We're Looking For: 6–10+ years of product management experience with demonstrated ownership of revenue-driving products or P&L components. Proven ability to operate at a Staff PM level—setting strategy, influencing across organizations, and communicating effectively with executives. Experience working with cross-functional teams including Finance, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and develop actionable insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create high-quality executive narratives and present complex issues clearly. Demonstrated bias for action, ability to manage ambiguity, and willingness to take ownership of business outcomes. Experience in travel, mobility, e-commerce, insurance, or other consumer-facing industries preferred We expect the starting salary to be around $180k but will be commensurate with experience. Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of product management experience with demonstrated ownership of revenue-driving products or P&L components.
  • Proven ability to operate at a Staff PM level—setting strategy, influencing across organizations, and communicating effectively with executives.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Finance, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and develop actionable insights.
