As a member of our Community Safety team, you will play a critical role in making transportation safer for all. Lyft is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Staff Product Manager to help build and lead product initiatives that enhance the safety of Lyft's community of riders and drivers. You will be at the forefront of defining, building, and scaling features that drive trust, protect the community, and ensure seamless experiences that prioritize the physical and psychological safety of our riders and drivers. You'll partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, legal, data science, research, and operations to ensure we build products that deliver on both short-term and long-term Community Safety goals. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills are essential, as you will be working across various departments to create and execute safety features. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and the broader regulatory landscape. You will lead the roadmap and strategic vision for key Community Safety initiatives - customer facing, backend, and AI-based - and your work will be critical to ensuring that Lyft continues to foster a safe and trusted environment for its customers. As a Staff Product Manager, you will also mentor and guide your team, ensuring their professional growth and fostering a collaborative environment.
