Join us to shape the future of electronics and accelerate your career in a dynamic, multicultural environment. · Product Development & NPI: Lead and support the full New Product Introduction (NPI) process, from feasibility and design through reliability, characterization, and manufacturing release. Ensure new products meet production readiness criteria and high-quality standards. · Product Sustaining & Yield Engineering: Sustain and support released products in production, ensuring optimal yields, smooth production runs, and timely resolution of line issues. Analyze device yield performance, initiate and implement yield and efficiency improvements, and manage hold lots and disposition to support customer demand. · Test Program & Hardware Management: Support development and validation of test programs and hardware for new and existing products. Ensure latest test program versions are released for production, and update documentation accordingly. Support test program migration and platform transfers, including data analysis and reporting. · Quality Improvement & Problem Solving: Analyze QA failures, identify root causes using structured problem-solving tools (e.g., Fishbone, 8D), and implement corrective actions for continuous quality improvement. Apply advanced statistical analysis to optimize guard bands and ATE limits. · Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface with design, applications, quality and test engineering teams to debug new products, characterize electrical performance, and ensure customer satisfaction. Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to drive improvements in testing efficiency, cycle time, and manufacturability. · Project & Subcontractor Management: Serve as focal point for projects aimed at improving device testing efficiency and cycle time. Drive improvements for products tested at subcontractors through timely review of test yields and resolution of setup or assembly issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in semiconductor product/test engineering, with deep expertise in product sustaining, yield engineering, and NPI.
  • Proven ability to resolve complex technical challenges using advanced analysis and creative problem-solving.
  • Experience developing and managing test programs and hardware validation, with hands-on proficiency in ETS364 and Advantest 93k test platforms.
  • Strong understanding of power management, analog/mixed-signal ICs and statistical analysis.
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement processes (e.g., QC Story, FMEA, DMAIC, 8D).
  • Effective communicator, able to present findings and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated independence in managing projects and delivering results aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience with cost reduction activities for IC packaging.
  • Expertise in yield improvement through test optimization.
  • Intimate knowledge of IC stress testing and hardware creation for reliability qualification per JEDEC and AEC-Q100 standards.

  • Experience in IC development, including design, layout, manufacturing, or test.
  • Proficiency with JMP Statistical Software and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Track record of developing new policies, identifying best practices, and influencing technical direction.
