About The Position

As a Staff Product Designer , you’ll impact the lives of everyday people and help them move from surviving to thriving with digital personal finance solutions. In this role, you’ll be embedded within our Lending business unit, leading the design of consumer-facing experiences that help people confidently navigate complex financial decisions. You’ll work across end-to-end product journeys, from discovery and education through application, onboarding, and post-conversion experiences, across desktop and mobile platforms. This is a senior individual contributor role for a designer who thrives in ambiguity, brings strong fintech experience, and can partner deeply with Product and Engineering to shape both strategy and execution.

Requirements

• 8+ years’ experience working as an Individual Contributor as a hands-on Designer on multiple products
• Comfort working within regulated or compliance-heavy environments.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools.
• Experience in creating consumer facing design solutions that scale across platforms and devices (desktop, mobile, etc).
• Demonstrate a high bar of quality in both interaction & visual design and strong technical skills.
• Knowledgeable about new technologies and processes within the field of design, WCAG requirements, Android, and iOS guidelines.
• Track-record of success working with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders and partners.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences across the organization.

• Curiosity and proactive experimentation with emerging AI tools, balanced with a strong sense of product quality, ethics, and user trust.
• Experience using and contributing to a design system.
• Experience in evangelizing consumer-centered thinking across all levels, creating a vision, and aligning teams to execute it.
• Experience in lending products such as personal loans, home loans, or credit products.

Responsibilities

• Proactively partner with product managers, designers, engineers, marketers, and researchers in understanding key user needs and directly contributing to business objectives.
• Build and develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate solutions to cross-functional partners.
• Translate business goals and regulatory constraints into clear, intuitive, and compliant user experiences.
• Influence product strategy by identifying opportunities, framing tradeoffs, and advocating for the user.
• Conduct competitive explorations and leverage conversion best practices to develop new and innovative approaches to boost performance.
• Use, contribute to, and evolve our design system to maintain consistency and scalability across products.
• Take ownership of learning the industry and helping your teams reach business outcomes through a data-driven approach.
• Facilitate design workshops, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative activities to foster a co-creation environment and ensure design quality.
• Enable teams to build products without friction through detailed documentation of guidelines, recommendations, and processes.
• Effectively communicate the intention and constraints within your design work to partners and stakeholders in order to drive clarity and alignment.
• Mentor other designers and support their growth through guidance, feedback, and setting an example of best practices.
