Requirements

  • Proven experience applying agile principles to program and project management in a government or defense context.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Demonstrated capability to grow business through strategic engagement and business development activities.
  • Leadership skills to foster team health, including creating psychologically safe environments and appropriate staffing strategies.
  • Expertise in contract compliance, risk management, and professional services delivery.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to succeed in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
  • U.S. citizenship and authorization to work within the U.S.; ability to obtain public trust or security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

  • Translate client objectives into actionable engagement strategies, delivering measurable results in the shortest feasible timeframe.
  • Assemble and lead multi-disciplinary teams, including subcontractors, to deliver complex defense and security initiatives.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects using agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, ensuring successful outcomes and timely delivery.
  • Remove obstacles and coach teams toward collaboration, self-organization, and high performance.
  • Conduct retrospectives and implement improvement actions based on client and internal feedback.
  • Provide visibility to engagement status, risk, and progress for management and client stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and operational standards across all project activities.
