About The Position

Staff Physicist Opportunity – Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD) is seeking a talented and enthusiastic ABR-certified Staff Physicist to join our team. CCBD is a progressive, physician-owned, community-based practice serving multiple locations throughout the vibrant Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. As a proud member of the OneOncology Alliance, our practice is recognized for its longstanding commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence. Candidates with at least 5 years or more experience are encouraged to apply. This position will be based at Tarrant County’s JPS Health system near downtown Fort Worth. About the Physics Team: Join a collaborative and experienced team of seven physicists, five dosimetrists, and four radiation oncologists, along with exceptional clinical and non-clinical support. Our team values efficiency, clear communication, teamwork, and professional growth. We encourage innovation and actively support projects involving standardization, QA optimization, scripting, automation, and enhancement of clinical care. About Our Practice: Over 450 dedicated team members, including approximately 35 physicians, 15 advanced practitioners, and a dynamic group of clinical and support staff. Comprehensive oncology services including Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Hematology, Surgical Oncology, Integrative Medicine, and extensive supportive care programs. Advanced imaging capabilities featuring PET/CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CT, X-Ray, and Ultrasound. Radiation therapy is supported by nine linacs (5 TrueBeams, 4 C-Series) and two HDR units across seven total sites, which includes coverage of two accelerators at the nearby county hospital. Requirements

  • ABR certification
  • Texas Medical Physics license
  • Experience with Varian platforms (TrueBeam, Eclipse, ARIA)
  • Experience with advanced techniques such as SRS/SBRT
  • Proficiency in routine clinical physics duties
  • Independent problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to teamwork and interdisciplinary patient care
