About The Position

NaphCare is hiring a Staff Physician to join our team of medical professionals in the AZ DOC - ASPC Eyman located at 4374 East Butte Avenue, Florence, Arizona . Pay rates range from $120.00 to $137.00 per hour based on shift, site needs, hire status, and experience. Full Time and Part Time positions may be available! As a Correctional Staff Physician , you will be responsible for providing quality medical care to meet the healthcare needs of the patients within the facility, while working alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals.

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO)
Must hold a current unrestricted license as a physician in Arizona
A current DEA registration in Arizona
Be certified in a Board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties
Be able to obtain BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred)
Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues
Must possess strong written communication and verbal skills and have strong computer skills.
Experience in general medicine, a strong knowledge of current medical principles and practices, and the ability to collaborate with medical team
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
Able to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
Display integrity, professionalism and be able to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements
Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening
