About The Position
The Department of Urology at the University of Miami Miller School Of Medicine is seeking applicants for a Clinical Urologist (Staff Physician) for our DSMC, Lennar, and new SoLeMia location. Essential Job Functions: Primarily in an outpatient clinic environment May include responsibility for coverage of some outpatient procedures in an ambulatory setting Perform clinical activity through the University of Miami Clinical Group (UMMG) clinical practice plan including surgical activity at University of Miami Hospital and Clinics and/or other affiliated hospitals Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system is preferred Effective communication, sound customer service skills and prompt responsiveness are essential in this role Compassion, teamwork, adaptability, and high levels of professionalism are required
Requirements
- MD /DO from an accredited medical school or foreign equivalent
- Urology Residency
- Licensed or eligible to obtain a Florida license
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Urology
- Effective communication, sound customer service skills and prompt responsiveness
- Compassion, teamwork, adaptability, and high levels of professionalism
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
