About The Position
The Physical Therapist in this role evaluates patients, develops treatment plans, and provides outpatient care aimed at restoring movement and improving daily function. The position has a direct impact on patient outcomes by helping individuals recover from injury, manage pain, and build confidence in their physical ability.
Requirements
- MSPT or DPT degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Florida Physical Therapist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Comfortable with EMR systems, including WebPT
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and identify treatment goals based on function and clinical presentation
- Create and carry out individualized plans of care
- Deliver therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and movement-based treatment
- Reevaluate progress and modify treatment as appropriate
- Document patient care thoroughly in WebPT
- Educate patients on home programs and strategies to support long-term recovery
- Work collaboratively with the clinic team to keep care organized and effective
