About The Position
The PTA helps carry out treatment plans and supports patients as they work toward improved strength, mobility, and function. This role has a direct impact on patient progress by keeping treatment consistent, reinforcing education, and helping each visit stay productive and focused.
Requirements
- MSPT or DPT degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Florida Physical Therapist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Comfortable with EMR systems, including WebPT
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercise and functional movement activities
- Observe patient response to care and report updates to the PT
- Reinforce home exercise programs and treatment instructions
- Complete visit documentation in WebPT accurately and on time
- Help maintain clinic flow and treatment efficiency throughout the day
- Provide professional, respectful support to patients during recovery
