About The Position
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide treatment support in an outpatient clinic that operates on a 1 patient per hour model. This role contributes directly to patient recovery by carrying out treatment plans, assisting with therapeutic activities, and reinforcing care instructions between visits.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Current CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- Prior outpatient experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with exercise, mobility, and functional training
- Report patient progress and treatment response to the PT
- Reinforce home exercise programs and patient education
- Complete treatment documentation in WebPT
