About The Position
We are hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to support outpatient treatment in a private practice. This position works under the direction of a Physical Therapist and plays an important role in carrying out treatment plans, guiding therapeutic exercise, and helping patients progress toward their functional goals.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Current CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercise and functional activities
- Observe patient response to treatment and communicate updates to the PT
- Reinforce home exercise programs and care instructions
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in WebPT
